Question: Where is the closest ATM?

Answer: A National Bank ATM is located near the box office in the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme at Place des Arts. A Caisse populaire Desjardins ATM is located on the basement level at Complexe Desjardins.

Question: Are members of the audience allowed to take pictures or use a video camera during performances?
Answer: The use of cameras and video recorders is strictly prohibited inside the halls, unless otherwise indicated.

Question: What are the parking lot opening hours?
Answer: The parking lot is open from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Saturday. The Sunday schedule varies according to show times; it opens two hours before the beginning of the first show and closes half an hour after the last performance begins. Monthly permit holders have access to the parking lot at all times.

Question: What time does the theatre open?
Answer: Generally, the theatre opens 45 minutes prior to the beginning of performances being held in the foyers and 30 minutes before one held in a hall.

Question: What should I do if I lose my ticket?
Answer: Go to the Place des Arts ticket office located at 175 Sainte-Catherine Street West (Place-des-Arts métro).

Question: Are the halls designed to cater to people with reduced mobility or those who have hearing difficulties?
Answer: During the shows, a member of the reception staff is specifically designated to assist persons with reduced mobility. Customers who require assistance must report to the main security desk.The Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier is equipped with an audio system that enables hearing-impaired spectators to tune their digital receivers into the frequency of the system in order to receive the signal of the show. Members of the audience wishing to avail themselves of this service must bring their own digital receivers.

Question: Where do I pick up my tickets?
Answer: At the ticket office:
Customers can pick up their tickets at the ticket office counter 45 minutes to an hour before the show starts or from noon to 8:30 p.m.. Monday through Saturday. Tickets must be picked up by the credit card holder. If someone other than the card holder picks up the tickets, he or she must have written and signed authorization from the card holder, as well as photocopies of both the front and back of the card.

By mail:
Tickets can be mailed if they are purchased at least 15 days before the date of the show.

Question: Where are the rest rooms?

Answer: There are rest rooms near the Place Deschamps restaurant. Rest rooms can also be found in the performance halls. Clients must have a show ticket to access rest rooms in the performance halls.

Question: Where are the closest restaurants?
Answer: There are three restaurants in Place des Arts: Place Deschamps wine bar, Le Seingalt restaurant, and Van Houtte café-bistro. Another restaurant, Le Contemporain, is located in the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal on the Place des Arts site. A wide variety of restaurants are located in the area around Place des Arts, in Complexe Desjardins and, notably, on St. Catherine Street.

Question: What are the ticket office hours?
Answer: The telephone service ticketing is open from 9am to 20h, Monday to Saturday.
The service at the counters is in operation from noon to 20:30 or half an hour after the curtain raiser, Monday to Saturday.
The ticketing and telephone service are also open on Sundays and holidays, according to the schedule of theatrical performances.

Question: Is there a designated smoking area?
Answer: Place des Arts is a non-smoking building; smokers have to go outdoors.

Question: Where is the nearest hotel?
Answer: The Hyatt Regency Hotel is located in Complexe Desjardins, opposite Place des Arts. There are other hotels close by on Sherbrooke Street, and on de Maisonneuve and René-Lévesque Boulevards.

Question: Are there any taxis in the vicinity?
Answer: There is a direct-dial taxi service located in the Salle des Pas perdus, at the entrance to the underground passage. There are also taxis available at the outside Place des Arts at 175 Saint Catherine Street West.
