Terms and conditions of sales

The following terms and conditions apply to all ticket reservations made online through the Place des Arts box office. Anyone reserving tickets online through the Place des Arts Box office is considered to have read and freely accepted these terms.

1. You must review all the information you are submitting BEFORE you place your order (choice of show, date, and seat section). Once you have ordered, there can be NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS. Information regarding scheduling, casting, dates, and times are subject to change without notice. Latecomers must wait for a pause in the program to access their seats. Latecomers’ tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
   
   
2. You must complete all the fields in the reservation form. Credit cards are the only acceptable method of payment for Internet sales. Your name and address must be submitted exactly as they appear on your credit card statement. Third party purchases are not allowed. Only valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diner's Club/En Route credit cards will be accepted to purchase tickets online.
   
   
3. The only discounts offered when purchasing tickets online are those specified on the reservation form.
   
   
4. You must pick up your tickets in the manner specified by the system when you made your reservation. The tickets will automatically be mailed to you except if the event takes place less than ten days following the reservation date or if you reserved reduced-price tickets. In this case, your tickets must be picked up at the Place des Arts box office. Only the credit card holder (who must show the card and valid ID at the time of pickup) will be given the tickets, which can be picked up 24 working hours after the reservation. If the show takes place within that time, the tickets can be picked up at the Place des Arts box office on the day of the show. Courier service is not currently available for tickets purchased online. Upon cancellation of an event, tickets may be refunded at the point of purchase pursuant to conditions set forth by the promoter and the issuer.
   
   
5. All orders are subject to approval by the Place des Arts box office and the financial institutions that issue the accepted cards.
   
   
6. A venue fee, taxes and service charges are added to the price of each ticket purchased online or by phone. There is no service charge on tickets purchased at the Place des Arts box office.
   
   
7. In the case of a discrepancy between the information submitted during an online reservation and that received by the Place des Arts central box office system or any other ticket reservation system, the information received by the Place des Arts box office will be deemed as accurate and will prevail.
   
   
8. Place des Arts will not be held responsible in the event that a reservation or transaction cannot be completed due to a problem or an error experienced by either the computer system, the Internet or any other ticket reservation network.
   
   
9. A ticket is void following a sworn complaint of theft thereof to the local police. A ticket and the rights attaching thereto or resulting therefrom may not be ceded, sold or transferred, whether in a commercial or promotional context, with or without consideration, unless written permission has been previously obtained from the promoter and the ticket vendor. Any falsification or resale of tickets is prohibited.
   
   
10. Cameras, tape recorders, and video recorders are strictly prohibited at performances. Mobile phones and pagers must be turned off during performances.
