Studio-Théâtre - Place des Arts

The Studio-théâtre, with its 138 seats, is Places des Arts’ most intimate concert hall. It features a small, four by five metre stage and a distinctive Elizabethan design.

The room is dedicated primarily to showcasing francophone song. The SACEF (Société pour l'avancement de la chanson d'expression française) organizes its Weekends de la chanson Quebecor here, as well as the annual Ma Première Place des Arts competition, aimed at promoting young, up-and-coming singers and songwriters.

    Assistance for persons with reduced mobility

    During performances, a member of the ushering staff is specifically designated to assist persons with reduced mobility. Customers who require assistance must report to the main security desk.

    Aids for the hearing-impaired
    An audio system enables hearing-impaired spectators to tune into the audio signal of the show by setting their FM receivers to 87.9.
