Choreographers: Harold Rhéaume (Québec) and Yvann Alexandre (France)
The fruit of collaboration between two prominent French and Québécois choreographers, Jumeaux is a three-part contemporary dance program that creates a space for similarity and difference to meet. The choreography explores how individuals, those multiple “fractions” of the human species, manage to share with one another in order to work in unison, or conversely, to draw borders and create division. A single gesture is at times sufficient to inspire trust or mistrust. Jumeaux explores this duality as a whole, through two worlds that collide and melt together in dance.
