Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, the sensational all-male ballet corps has established itself as a major dance phenomenon throughout the world.
The dancers portray mostly female roles in a humorous style that combines parodies of romantic and classical ballet, physical comedy and "straighter" pieces intended to show off the performers' outstanding technical skills. Much of the humor is in seeing male dancers en travesti, wearing tutus and dancing en pointe.
Their performance will feature a new work, as funny as it gets, inspired by the celebrated American choreographer Merce Cunningham.
