Forty years after the recording of Miles Davis' revolutionary Bitches Brew, the first album to incorporate rock sounds into jazz compositions-Miles even used wah-wah and echo effects on his trumpet-eight of today's musical prodigies pay tribute to a landmark moment in jazz history. And in a sign of the times, the "standard" combination of electric guitar, bass, trumpet, clarinet, synthesizers... is now augmented by a DJ. Just goes to show, there's always room for novelty and innovation in the work of the master!
