Construction
at Place des Arts

Despite ongoing construction work in and around Place des Arts, all performance halls, as well as the outdoor esplanade, box office, shops, and corridors leading to the Metro and to Complexe Desjardins are open. The work will in no way affect performances taking place at Place des Arts. Follow the signs!

Access to Place des Arts during festival season

During festival season, from June 1st to July 25, access to the Place des Arts parking lot will be changed. Beginning at 6 pm on festival evenings, motorists arriving from the east must take de Maisonneuve Boulevard and veer off onto De Montigny Street to enter the Place des Arts parking lot. The exit to the Place des Arts parking lot on Jeanne-Mance Street remains open as usual before 6 pm; motorists will exit via Saint-Urbain Street after 6 pm.

Saint-Urbain Street, between Sherbrooke Street and Sainte-Catherine Street, is closed to all automobile traffic beginning at 6 pm on festival evenings. The Complexe Desjardins and Complexe Guy-Favreau parking lots can only be accessed via René-Lévesque Boulevard during festival season.

Sainte-Catherine Street has been re-opened to pedestrians between Bleury and Saint-Dominique streets.
